we voted!

despite what all the pundits said months ago, we maryland voters were going to matter after all in this crazy presidential race!

so, on a snowy tuesday morning, we loaded jackson into the stroller, suited him and brooks up in their sweaters and their boots, and walked to our polling place, just a few blocks west on church street.

though not all of our chosen candidates were successful, there was at least one bright spot that day — free tacos! california tortilla was offering a free taco to anyone sporting an “I voted” sticker on tuesday. never ones to pass up free food, we headed there for lunch! yum.
