molly and jackson had no trouble digging into the yummy array of colorful cupcakes, fresh-made cotton candy and other bright treats on saturday afternoon at volt in downtown frederick.

the fancy restaurant (where dave and molly enjoyed an amazing anniversary dinner back in october) held a children’s story hour that day, complete with special drinks for kids (milkshakes!) and adults (french press coffee and crazy cocktails).

we created quite a mess on the white tablecloths with all that icing, but had a wonderful time listenting to stories such as “curious george” and other favorites. yummy fun!
