we spent a chocolate-covered saturday with the barainyaks in hershey, pa., once again. after lunch at fuddruckers, we headed over to chocolate world to ride “the ride” and eat our share of free chocolate!

jackson had a blast, chasing after his cousins and eating all the sweets. what he did not like were the plush, life-size candy bar characters who paraded around, dancing to the hershey brass band version of “pour some sugar on me.” red-faced and shaking, he did agree to get his photo taken with the payday dude, eventually.

a few hours later, after some cookie-painting and pretend candy factory work, we loaded back into the crv and headed home to frederick. needless to say, jackson slept like a baby the next two days! nothing like the barainyaks to tire you out for days!
